Booking & Payment
(1) A £30 booking fee secures your hire and will appear on your statement as SPA TUBS HIRE LTD.
(2) Booking fees are non-refundable, unless we cancel due to severe weather or equipment being deemed unsafe.
(3) The remaining balance is due either in cash on delivery before setup, or by bank transfer before delivery.
(4) If there is not enough space for installation when we arrive, you are still liable for the full hire cost.
(5) Required space: Gazebo package – 3.2m x 3.2m / Tub only – 2.2m x 2.2m
Health & Safety
(6) Children under 12 must be supervised at all times. Children under 5 and pregnant women must not use the hot tub.
(7) No food, drink, chewing gum, or face paints in the tub.
(8) No smoking, fires, or cooking equipment near the tub.
(9) All footwear, glasses, jewellery, and sharp items must be removed before use.
(10) Do not enter with makeup or false tan — this damages the pump and may result in a £50 cleaning fee.
(11) Overcrowding must be avoided. Please limit users to the tub size provided.
Equipment Responsibility
(12) The hire equipment is 100% your responsibility throughout the hire.
(13) Any damage or loss must be paid for, either by repair or full replacement if beyond repair.
(14) The setup area must be flat, secure, and free from animal faeces.
(15) Do not stand on the bubble strip inside the tub (around the edges). Damage will result in a £50 charge.
(16) Filters must be cleaned at least once per day. A spare filter is available for £5 if needed.
Setup & Operation
(17) The hot tub must be plugged directly into a mains socket within 7m of the tub. No extension leads allowed.
(18) The pump, heater, and filter must remain on permanently (3 lights showing on the unit).
(19) Tubs are not usable for the first 24 hours while heating and chemicals balance. If cold filled, heating may take up to 48 hours.
(20) We usually attempt to hot fill to speed this process up.
(21) It is your responsibility to check and maintain chemical levels daily to keep chlorine safe and effective. Failure to do so may cause bacteria growth, illness, or skin irritation.
Weather Conditions
(22) For gazebo packages: in wind gusts above 15mph, you must remove the sides to prevent damage.
(23) If weather is unsafe, we may not supply/install the gazebo canopy or sides. In this case, your package may be reduced to a lower level at a reduced cost.
(24) We cannot take risks with safety and appreciate your understanding.
Call-Outs & Support
(25) If you experience issues, we’ll first attempt to resolve them over the phone.
(26) If an in-person visit is needed before 6pm and the issue is due to user error (not equipment fault), a £50 call-out fee applies.
(27) Please notify us immediately if any problems arise.
Collection & Delivery
(28) Setup and collection times are between 7am–7pm. We’ll confirm a time slot in advance.
(29) Specific timed requests can be made for £50 if requested in advance.
(30) If we collect in your absence, water must be emptied the day before. If a drain is accessible, we can pump the water out on collection.
(31) Someone must be present at setup to confirm placement and allow filling.
(32) If the delivery team has to wait for you to move items or decide on a location, an extra waiting charge may apply.
Liability
(33) All users enter and use the hot tub at their own risk.
(34) The hirer is responsible for any damage, injury, or extra cleaning required (e.g. dirt, mud, stains, makeup, or false tan).
(35) If equipment cannot be cleaned or repaired, a full replacement charge will apply.
